Assistant Kitchen manager

Position Overview:
As the Assistant Kitchen Manager at DoEat, you’ll collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth production of our mini cookies and dips. You’ll play a vital role in managing the team, maintaining quality control, and ensuring the kitchen is safe and organized.

Kitchen Support:

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in supervising staff and coordinating daily production schedules.
  • Help manage scheduling, inventory, and kitchen efficiency.

Team Leadership:

  • Train and support kitchen staff, ensuring they follow recipes, safety standards, and maintain high-quality production.
  • Step in for the Kitchen Manager when needed and handle any issues that arise.

Inventory & Quality Control:

  • Assist in monitoring inventory and ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure the consistency of quality, flavor, and presentation of all mini cookies and dips.

Cleanliness & Organization:

  • Help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of equipment.

Training & Development:

  • Stay updated on new baking techniques and assist with team training sessions.
  • Support the development of new recipes and menu items.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen management or leadership role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen safety standards.
