Lead the Heart of DoEat’s Kitchen Operations!
Position Overview:
As the Kitchen Manager at DoEat, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring smooth production and maintaining the high quality of our mini cookies and dips. You’ll lead the kitchen team, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations:
- Manage daily kitchen activities, including assigning staff tasks and organizing production schedules.
- Oversee the preparation and baking of mini cookies, ensuring consistency and quality across all products.
Team Leadership:
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure adherence to DoEat’s standards.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new kitchen team members.
Inventory & Quality Control:
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed to maintain seamless kitchen operations.
- Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products to uphold high standards.
Cleanliness & Organization:
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot any kitchen issues and ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
Training & Development:
- Stay current with new baking techniques and trends.
- Lead training sessions to continuously enhance the team’s skills and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a kitchen manager or in a leadership role in a bakery or food establishment.
- Strong baking knowledge with an ability to manage and streamline kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
